Call for Papers

AXIS Journal of Social Sciences (AJSS), a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the International Association for Social Research Dynamics (IASRD), invites original submissions for its second inaugural issue (Volume 1, Issue 2, November 2026).

Who should submit

We welcome contributions from researchers, academics, doctoral and postgraduate scholars, and practitioners working in any area of the social sciences, from any country.

Areas of interest

Submissions are welcome across the full Aim and Scope of the journal, including but not limited to:

  • Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work
  • Psychology, Social Psychology and Behavioural Sciences
  • Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration and Governance
  • Economics, Development Studies and Social Policy
  • Education and Educational Studies
  • Media, Communication, Journalism and Cultural Studies
  • Criminology, Human Rights, Peace and Conflict Studies
  • Gender, Identity and Social Justice
  • Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Society; Digital Behaviour and Social Media
  • Migration, Globalisation, Climate Change and Sustainability
  • Public Health and Social Behaviour; Youth and Society
  • Interdisciplinary and applied social-science research

Types of submission

  • Research articles: original empirical, theoretical or conceptual studies using quantitative, qualitative or mixed methods
  • Review articles: systematic, scoping or critical literature reviews

Manuscripts should be 4,000–9,000 words, including references, tables and appendices, and follow APA (7th edition) style.

How to submit

  1. Read the Author Guidelines and Journal Policies.
  2. Prepare your manuscript using the AJSS Manuscript Template, with a separate anonymised title page.
  3. Complete the Author Agreement Form.
  4. Submit online through the journal system: Make a Submission.
