Aim and Scope

AXIS Journal of Social Sciences publishes interdisciplinary research across the social sciences. Its aim, scope and the types of contributions it welcomes are set out below.

Aim

The primary aim of AXIS Journal of Social Sciences is to provide a credible and intellectually rigorous platform for the publication and dissemination of high-quality research that advances knowledge and critical understanding within the social sciences.

The journal aims to:

  • encourage methodological diversity, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, comparative, and interdisciplinary approaches;
  • support research that contributes to academic debate, professional practice, policy understanding, and societal development;
