Big data in HR analytics is defined as extensive, diverse, and fast-moving data sets. It does not always guarantee the best HR solutions. While data-driven insights are crucial for strategic decision-making, organizations must consider factors like financial health, market conditions, competitors, and workforce capabilities before implementing HR analytics findings. This study explores HR analytics’ significance, process, key questions it can address, a new model, and existing challenges. HR analytics applies research methods and advanced statistical tools to HR data, enabling evidence-based decision-making. It highlights the strategic value of HRM in gaining a competitive edge. However, blind reliance on data is risky; contextual adjustments are necessary. As HR analytics evolves, businesses must balance data insights with practical considerations to drive effective human resource management.
